Meet the Team
Executive Director, Shared Services Operations
Lisa Sharpe is the executive director of the WVU Shared Services Center. She has worked in higher education for more than fifteen years spending time in various academic, research and administrative units at West Virginia University. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree and a Master of Professional Accountancy degree. She also is a licensed certified public accountant and a certified project manager.
Director of Workforce Administration
Sheila Seccurro oversees the Workforce Administration team, which is responsible for providing full life-cycle administrative human resources support in the areas of talent acquisition, onboarding, compensation, benefits administration, training, employee records and offboarding processes within the Shared Services Center.
Director of Operational Excellence
Rich Cortellini oversees the continuous improvement of operations within the Shared Services Center. His primary responsibilities include the day-to-day management and support of continuous improvement operations staff, developing relationships with customer groups, reporting on service center metrics developed for internal and external use and maintaining the technology required to support the center.
DIRECTOR OF SPONSORED-PROJECTS FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
Vince is the Director of the Sponsored Projects area within the Shared Services Center. He is responsible for a full range of financial research administration activities from fiscal oversight to award closeout including transaction approvals, financial reporting, award monitoring and reconciliations.
Financial Management Director
Stenja McVicker oversees the Financial Management area within the WVU Shared Services Center. Her responsibilities include providing strategic direction to the team processing financial transactions within the Shared Services Center. She oversees activities in the areas of payroll time collection, accounts payable support, general ledger funding, reconciliation and reporting, and accounts receivable support functions.
Director of Customer Care
Nina DeMarco serves as the Customer Care director within the Shared Services Center. In this role, she is responsible for leading her team to provide a high-functioning customer service experience in support of our faculty, staff and students.
