Stenja McVicker
Executive Director, Shared Services Operations
Stenja is a well-rounded finance and business operations specialists with over 21 years of experience, 19 of those years in service at WVU. Prior to joining the Shared Services team as the Financial Management Director in 2020, Stenja served as the Assistant Dean for Budget, Finance, and Operations at the WVU College of Law where she served as a member of the Dean’s Senior Leadership team and oversaw all matters affecting budget and finance along with supervising the Business Office, Network Services Department, and Buildings & Facilities Management team.

Kourtney Morgan
Director of Workforce Administration
Kourtney provides strategic direction to the Workforce Administration Team which is responsible for providing full life-cycle administrative HR support in the areas of recruitment support, onboarding, leave administration, benefits processing, human resources data management, payroll form submissions, payroll labor distribution schedules/adjustments, and timecard submissions within the Shared Services Center.

Katerina Vero
Director of Operational Excellence
Katerina Vero oversees the continuous improvement of operations within the Shared Services Center. Her primary responsibilities include the day-to-day management and support of continuous improvement operations staff, developing relationships with customer groups, reporting on service center metrics developed for internal and external use and maintaining the technology required to support the center.

Vince Alvarez
Director of Financial Management and Sponsored Projects
Vince is the Director of the Financial Management and Sponsored Projects area within the Shared Services Center. He is responsible for a full range of financial transaction processing and research administration activities from fiscal oversight to award closeout including transaction approvals, financial reporting, award monitoring and reconciliations.

Nina DeMarco
Director of Customer Care
Nina DeMarco serves as the Customer Care director within the Shared Services Center. In this role, she is responsible for leading her team to provide a high-functioning customer service experience in support of our faculty, staff and students.
